Austin... Most eyecatching signing since Wegerle IMHO...!!

I'm really excited about this young hungry beast of a striker young Austin as I think he'll score a hatful.... Austin and Crouch combo as our first choice front two would be awesome I reckon...

Anyway for me, it's not since we signed Roy Wegerle or maybe John Spencer at a push have we signed a player truly at the top of his form in a particular position.... Austin in the Cahmpionship will always bag you plenty of goals and in conjunction with a striker of Crouch's nouse then we'd be top scorer's in the division....

Anyway, Roy Wegerle was immense and whilst not as prolific as Austin was still very much a very decent top flight player.... For so long now we had to make do with players on the wain then it's great that we have a gem like Austin....

    He'll bag a brace in a 2-0 win on Sat..... U R's

Most fans will be too young to remember Roy Wegerle,I remember him well,he was like Taarabt but with the finish to match, the most exciting QPR player since Rodney Marsh( I remember him too).John Spencer was our record signing so he stood out at the time, but not half the player Roy was.I still think Remy is our biggest signing, and IF he stays ,then we have a very good strike force.

Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

If Charlie performs half as well as Roy I'll be very happy. Roy was a breath of fresh air with silky skills only a handful of players at the time had.

why austin is the most important signing in our history

many years ago les allen was a very important signing,he was the catalyst that changed qpr,to sign one of tottenhams famous double winning stars was a major coup
never before had qpr netted a major player before then we were a joke club, sure enough,he went out and scored 30 goals in his first season
it was him as a signing that persuaded rodney marsh to join us,it made rodney realise that our ambition and desire was amazing
many years later we get the second greatest chairman in our history tony fernandes,
NOW WE HAVE ALL THESE HIGH PRICED PRE MADONNAS WHO ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN DRAWING THERE MONEY
GRANERO COST 9 MILLION POUNDS AND HES ONE OF THE WORST PLAYERS WHO EVER PUT ON A QPR SHIRT
charlie austin would saw off his left leg to score a goal, his hunger and desire cant be matched he is destined to become the new stan bowles
EVERYONE ON THIS SITE KNOW HOW I LABOURED SINGLE HANDEDLY,TO BRING IN REDKNAPP AND NOW YOU KNOW WHY,HARRY BOY IS LIKE TOMMY DOCHERTY HE WILL KEEP TURNING THE SQUAD AROUND
UNTILL IT PERFORMS TO HIS SATISFACTION.NO ROOM FOR SENTIMENT NO ROOM FOR PERSONAL TASTE,PURITY AND BEAUTIFULL ATTACKING FOOTBALL

the differance between austin and hooper, johnson and zamora is that austin will respond to the crowds chanting of his name
