With the recent images on the official website showing Adel, Remy and Barton all training. (Even Traore)

It looks more unlikely that these will be leaving before Saturdays game and therefore maybe more likely that they could be selected and even feature.

Im hopefully on Remy mostly personally.

Austin news seems more and more likely, and again could be with us by Saturday meaning another big boost.

O'Neil is probably the second player likely to sign before the weekend.

Overall its looking good IMO.

But who are the four to go?

Park, Diakite, Jenas and Traore (Perm deals) Would make sense?? (Also Cesar...)

Maybe the loan deals are for the youth..

all interesting really, busy few days. But looking up if we can bring in Austin and keep Adel/Remy before the weekend.

ah! it's clear now...

but surely we need to be clearing out more than just 6 players... it's not until i tried narrowing it down to just 6 players, that i realised how many that means might actually end up staying - mbia, granero, ferdinand, jenas, remy - all of whom are on big, big wages.

yeah... the impossible dream.

not sure about remy - don't get the impression he's up for the championship in a world cup year and i reckon he might get kicked a bit too much. some players are too skillful to be good in the championship, i've got a feeling that remy might be one of them.

we seem to have strength in the middle of the park now - henry, faurlin, maybe o'neil, maybe barton. not saying granero and mbia are bad (i think granero is a fine player, but at the wrong club for him, whilst mbia's mixture of theatrics and stupid fouls might be a problem this season), but someone's got to move on.

jenas isn't on massive wages, but i seem to recall harry claiming that him and townsend costed the club about £25k a week and everyone reckons that townsend was on less than £5k a week, so he's not that cheap either.
