looking at the latest arry boy redknapp outbursts i think both austin and townsend could be on the way
but i think fourlin will be loaned out again.i expect mbia to be our top midfield player this season,these are only my thoughts gentlemen but if we got both austin and townsend we could win this league by ten points,with a hundred goals in the bag as well

It's not that, he has been carrying a knock and a thigh strain so they didn't feel it was worth risking, Iv just got this nagging doubt about him being here,personally I think we are keeping hold of him just as cover until we sign a striker and think its a ploy to keep the fans reasonably quiet as they obviously want Remy to stay but as soon as we do sign somebody he will be off loaded before the season starts without playing a game and the reason will be his not quite fit yet as he has only been training for a week.

Expensive ploy if that is the case. More like no one has come in with an offer worth considering yet as there is a risk to take with him at the moment.

Thuis exactly. I dont know why people are clinging onto Townsend. If he was on loan to a premiership club and waws one of their best perfromers last season, why would he now drop to the championship. I think he will stay at spuds and get a few games this season.

I don't see Townsend coming to us especially with all that's happening with spurs recently, if bale goes to RM he could get more game time would he risk it coming to a championship side? don't think so...

I think if Remy was going he'd have gone straight away. Look at the facts:

He's a current France international
He's proved himself in his short time in the prem as more than capable
He would cost relative peanuts for his calibre

We all hoped this case hanging over him would put people off and I think that's clearly the case. The only real talk of any interest is Newcastle who only want him on loan, ie, no risk if he goes down.

I think and hope he's here past the window, and can assist our challenge.

Couldnt agree anymore and would like to see AJ playing up top with him. It would be so refreshing to see us have 2 strikers on the pitch at the same time who like to make runs !!!

Austin would be the striker we need up top in my opinion. I just cant see Townsend coming in if we arent shifting Hoilett or SWP as it doesnt make sense having one of them highly paid wingers on the bench.
