Newcastle have pulled the plug on the Gomis deal and rumour has it Remy is in the North East so it would make sense to have Austin signing nearly complete.

That's because there were numerous rumours from Forest fans yesterday. Just reading them you could see that they were mostly made up, but a lot of people obviously believed them and put bets on.

I'm not sure if anybody has even put in a bid yet. It was said that Forest put in a bid of 4 million, but I find that hard to believe given the medical problems.
