Townsend got slated by the commentator today when spurs played sunderland in their friendly. Said something like "that just shows why townsend cannot get into the 1st team. He runs with the ball well, gets into the right places but doesnt have that decisive mind to either shoot or pass to a player in a better position"
this was after he made an attacking run but it all broke down cos he didnt complete a pass.
Hopefully AVB will think the same and sell him to us for a couple of million?!

if the unthinkable happens and townsend ends up signing for us, i'd stick hoilett on the left and townsend on the right.

Suk Young looked good, but he hasn't played a competitive game in this country yet. No point throwing him in the deep end, but bring him on for the last 20 if things are going well.

The CB problem has still not been sorted. You need specialists with a bit of pace, otherwise pushing up becomes impossible.

I wouldn't imagine Remy will play, he hasn't played a match in pre season yet so won't be match fit. Also I'm not totally convinced he'll stay, I think the second we get another striker in he'll be sold. More than likely we'll be starting the season with BZ and AJ..
