Personally I will be sad to see Mackie go.

Give me a grafter over a prima donna any day of the week.

        agree with this
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If a player asks to leave, let him go.

I'd rather a player that wants to play for us, then a player who will give us 50%.

His only good in the Championship if he gives us 100%, he's not that great anyway.

Myu he wants to play for us hence why he's leaving, been told he's a bit part player.

Agree with your point he is limited and wouldn't merit a starting place but a good sub although thats not what he wants to be, which is fair enough

Clearly not as committed to te club as everyone would like to believe. Out of the side, requests a transfer rather than knuckle down and try and get in the team.

Fair play to him for leaving because he wants to play first team football, can't knock him for that but can we now perhaps stop this notion that if you cut mackie he would bleed blue and white???

Pity, was a great R. Hard to maintain your commitment when those above & around you no longer have faith in you. G'luck Jamie.

You talk as though you know what goes on behind closed doors? Unless I've missed something, it hasn't been stated that he wants to go "for first team football" and just that he's "unhappy" ?

Mackie will be a loss ahead if a tough old Championship season. Limited ability but will run through walls for his side. Good luck to him wherever he ends up - will always get a good reception from me .
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
