That was the website that last night posted that Hooper would reject us and head to Norwich so wouldn't surprise me if true.

What does surprise me though is someone signing Remy with him being on bail but as it's been said, he would have been long gone by now if it wasn't for that.

We've got a good fee for him but now we're in serious need of two strikers.

I'd go for Austin and Becchio.

I think this is a good deal for us. Not only is there the problem of his being on bail, but there is also the problems he left behind in France. The French press are putting the two together so that even if he gets off the charge in England, it could be used against him for his ongoing problems in Nice.

After missing out on Hooper I would really like Remy to stay but that was probably never going to happen, as others have said the best case scenario would be a bidding war for him but I'm afraid it will leave us in a mess for attacking options! Let's hope Harry has a solid plan B because I have no faith in Zamora or Johnson!

Hopefully we wouldn't! It makes no sense. Keep him and have him scoring for fun in the Championship, then his clause apparently expires and if someone wants him in January they can pay top dollar or we keep him and have a good chance to get promoted.

Definately but it's business at the end of the day. Working in recruitment, I understand the way things work!
