Facto is correct. We do are negotiations in such an unprofessional manner. We let the whole world know what we are doing. Norwich must be laughing. We did all the leg work and they do the easy part. Harry shut up until the deal is complete. Harry is not doing us any favours.

I think we are to weak in the boardroom department. Need to get these deals done quicker. Its obviously much more easy for them to pay over the hill wage monsters without any competition.

They gotta learn to act fast , set a deadline and wave a good wad of cash. It will work.

Agree, Simon Jordan during the January transfer window singled out (as he described) the "lunatic" manner we deal with transfers compared to other teams in the relegation zone who did their business completely differently.
We haven't learnt our lesson, this summer Swansea, Saints and others just got on with it quietly, professionally and targetted their buys.
I appreciate Hooper might never of wanted to sign for us but as a club we don't seem to have the professionals in place to close deals without getting ripped off &/or ending up with players no one else wanted.
