I see that we have been as low as 1/5 and as big as 5/1 ....And so have Norwich at some point ....

Is this a simple case of keep lumping on both teams ........spreading the money 50/50 equally ...as and when they go odds against and you're guaranteed to clean up ...........As long as Hooper doesn't join another team .....

Or is it not as simple as that ........Sorry to sound dim but I thought bookies were meant to be the clever ones !!!

Just been looking at some odds tracker andbig money went on Norwich about 18th and 19th July and the price dipped dramatically and another big hit between hrs of approx 21.00 to 23.00 last night...wasnt Old Wiz on here

Think with Hooper move not many bets so movement in the market could be a Norwich fan pouring on £200 or something for the market to move so drastically, I don't know how it works though.

Now as said us and Norwich cannot be separated.

Normally the bookies won't take a bet of anymore than £50 on these markets and it doesn't take much to make them swing.

I was still typing but if as you say one bet of a tenner swings the market then we know Wiz has had a cheeky punt.

By the way, we're now into 7/4 to sign Hooper and Norwich 4/9.

The bookies are clueless and are simply monitoring the books so they don't get hammered on a certain team. Hence Norwich and ourselves constantly changing price.

Today we've been as short as 1/6 and as big as 5/1. That tells you everything.

Into evens now.
Could go either way.

It's a pet hate of mine people reading into betting. Betting goes up & down mostly depending on bets coming in from people. They don't really know much more then you & I

That's the basics of a market but they will manipulate the odds on the back if info they receive.

The fact Norwich are the price they are is worrying the **** out of me.

Really? Looking at his Twitter he's a nobody studying Geography, plus he's from Belfast which is predominantly Rangers!

I understood that Norwich made an offer of 4 million a few weeks ago, and stated that this was their final offer. I do not think they have been back since.

We are the only ones that have met the asking price.
Its all down to Hooper now, nothing more.
