they are like Shaktar Donetsk and Zagreb. Big clubs is pi sh poor leagues. They need CL football to sign half decent players as the money in the SPL is non existant

Celtic are a way bigger club than us,no doubt, but it just goes to show what massive ambition TF has that he has backed HR with this move if it goes through,it would be the best championship signing of the summer

Simple as this money talks Gary has enjoyed his time at Celtic played against some of the best teams in world football (May I add he never played in our victory over Barcelona) I speak for all Celtic fans when I say we wish him well.

Our best player has already left this summer and that's Wanyama who we sold for 12.5 mill and to the few QPR fans who I've read slaughtering Celtic and Scottish football when did you last sell a player for that sum or play in the CL?

The only reason I'm on here is I seen Collins' comments on SSN and thought they were harsh but in all honesty it's the truth.

Enjoy Gary and cherish his talents he's a cracking striker but Celtic are bigger than any one player we'll replace him and we'll move on god bless and don't believe what you hear about Lee Rigby lot of nonsense!!!!

Keep on enjoying the league 1 football mate...Where Celtic belong. Gonna be a step up for Hooper playing in the Championship but i am hoping he will cope.

Tbf Samba was never actually your player, as I said before though I wish no malice to anyone at QPR you have bought a decent striker one I'll shed no tears over leaving though unlike Henrik Larsson I cried when that happened.

I realise my time on this forum is likely to be short so all I ask is you respect Celtic for the club they are, financially we will never be able to cope with most English sides but what we can offer is glamour ties good crowds and a club with history and reputation that QPR will never match.

If HR leaves midway through the season after a poor run Hooper will be at the level he started at, no player ever leaves celtic and doesn't look back with regret facts are unless your moving to top 6 Epl or barca etc it's a step down and that's a fact!

celtic are the bigger club but playing in scotland is a waste of a career, especially since Rangers went broke

celtic would be premiership relegation contenders, but if they joined they'd be competing for CL places within a few years. which is why i hope they never join...

Celtic may be a bigger club, but its not that hard when you only had to finish above 1 team to win the league!!
The SPL is even worse now Rangers ain't in it.

I really hope one day that Celtic n Rangers are allowed in the English Leagues.
Swansea n Cardiff are allowed so why not ?

I like Celtic but it amazes me how their fans are so blinded to how **** their league is. We all know QPR shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Celtic in terms of stadia & fan support but truth is Gary hooper ain't leaving because of the money, he's leaving cos he's bored to death of playing the dross he has to face week in, week out in the Scottish Pub League. I think he'd consider moves to us, Norwich, or any other English team that put a bid in just to get away from that dire league. Still like Celtic though, would also love to see them join the English leagues one day.
