      Don't be so nosy!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Not if Henry signs - would imagine that although different levels of class, play in the same position.

Also, would guess that Parker won't drop too much in wages. Can see him going to West Ham if they can afford him.

I think moving for Henry is why we failed to bring Parker!

I think you mean to say, moving for Henry would suggest we'd already failed with Parker.

I think Spurs wanted top dollar and Parker himself has a year to run on a pretty decent money. On top of that Parker still fancies a trip to the World Cup in the summer, as such a drop down the division wouldn't be a smart move. Can't see why this deal would make sense for anyone!

Redknapp told Sports Direct News exclusively: "I can understand how two and two have been put together but the truth is there has been no contact from me. A lot of clubs would like to get Scott Parker on their books but I've been looking in other areas this summer. You never rule anything out as a manager but I can truthfully say Scott is not an immediate target for me."...http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/foot...arker-move.php

Parker and Townsend included in Tottenham's pre-season game against Sunderland today. Parker starting and Townsend on the bench.

Why would two clubs in the same league play friendlies together???

Parker may still be on. Mentioned on another forum that we are meeting his representatives on Friday.

Fairly specific claim, but take with the usual mountain of salt.

Parker is a pipe dream. Not gonna happen.Too much wages and he will wanna play in the prem as he will hope to go to the WC next year.

Think this rumour can be put to bed.
