But i bet you weren't saying that after his first 7 games, in which his 9 goals (or whatever it was) had helped massively with pulling us away from the foot of the table....

Sure it's not been brilliant since, but those goals, even if he never scores again, could be deemed priceless when the alternative could have abeen a continued poor run and relegation.
