I'm also in the minority and think Joey could do a job in the Championship. Not sure what will happen if nobody comes in for him. Surely he is not just going to sit around all season watching golf etc.

I agree that Joey could be a real asset this season, but only if he wants to be. Unfortunately the fact that he chose 3 days in bed after Glastonbury instead of the start pre-season gives you good indication of where Joey's head is right now. Let him rot in the reserves until he accepts a termination or a move on less money!

watching the game yesterday it was said dunne will play some part in the elites next game and then again against southend on friday.

I know he did not play for long yesterday. Anybody any opinion on how he played?

I agree the rest of the squad started playing friendlies after a week or more of preseason it'd be foolish to play him before working on his core fitness. Dunne being 33 years old and having spent the best part of the last 12 months struggling with an injury makes getting him in the right condition even more important.
