Exactly, if we threw him straight into a friendly and he picked up knock what good would that do? He's just come back from a long lay off and he's 2 weeks behind on pre-season, I'm sure our medical staff know exactly what they are doing!

The Club said he was not match-fit. They did not say he was injured.

Dont think he'll play 90 mins until the Exeter game.

Exactly Jane there are some proper dramatic posters.

I actually want Dunne think he's a good signing but if we can't even consider giving him 10 to 15mins at the end of a pre season game when season starts in two weeks what chance does he have after all he's unfit not injured so surely you get your fitness from game time that's what were always told by the pros no substitution for actually playing does that not apply in this case????

I think it is just the case that he just can't manage 15 mins pre season at the moment.

I'm sure the physio & coaches are trying to bring his fitness back up to scratch. :-/

He's heading towards full fitness, unfortunately Easyjet has probably set him back a couple of months....

Tbh he has not been match fit for the last 2 years at villa.

He has been signed for having the right attitude but people shouldn't expect much.
Basic defender who's legs have gone, turns like a small truck but will be vocal and organised.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Let's hope his fellow defenders can listen and act on his instructions and can also cover for him when he cannot run.
To be honest, I am not expecting much from him and seriously think QPRshould be looking to sign another CB.

                        Deja vu this!

Not sure if you were one of them WeAre but there were a lot of guys on here saying exactly the same thing about Ryan Nelson this time last year and they were eating their words a few weeks into the season. Personally I expect Dunne to be a very good signing and other than the last 12 months his injury record has been exceptional over the course of his career!

Not sure what the world's coming to but I'm agreeing with most of what you're saying this morning
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Exactly which players are match fit?

The problem with Ryan Nelsen was he left us mid season.
