I love Adel but I have to admit (exactly as Deeps said on "the thread" ) - it is becoming harder & harder to defend his behaviour. If he is constantly turning up late etc then he's left the club no choice - they can't just ignore it and let him do as he pleases, what sort of example would that set?

Going into the Championship, though, where we know he can do serious damage, I wouldn't want to have to sell him. Really hope he has been laid to law by the club and he bucks his ideas up. This horrible rumour doing the rounds that Foolham want him would is no bl00dy good either. If he went there I'd be gutted.

At the time it was 100% the right thing to do. Fluff his ego, let him think he is the big dog, and look what happened - he took us up. Granted last 2 years showed he couldn't take the same approach to the PL, but at the time in question, was def the right way to go. IMO.

Last year I was led to believe that Adel is a 'number ten' (whatever that is) and a player that was blessed with a huge talent. This 'number ten' I was told, is a player with the ability to change games with flashes of genius. A creative playmaker.

I'm sorry to say, I didn't see these flashes of genius from our vaunted 'number ten'. Overrated and overhyped. I don't mind him going at all.
