Sorry if said before but Talk Sport say that Mathew Upson is on the way to us. Again he is a little old it but I recon he could do very good job in championship and will organise defence. Prob just the sort of player we need.

If we sign Crouch, Parker, Upson & Dunne, Arry will have have created a decent British spine to our team - when you chuck in Bobby, AJ, Simpson & Green.
Just what we need to get out of this division.
Team spirit & guts. With the added pace & flair of Faurliiiiin, Adel, Hoilett, SWP, maybe Townsend. Plus the likes of Ned, Park & Derry who are solid.
Chuck Remy into that team and we should be looking to turn-over this division.

Not a bad option - Upson or Dunne would be more than ok at Championship level. Would marginally prefer Dunne as he is more of a leader - something I think we have lacked recently.Comment

Why dont we look abroad for some quality players? Spanish leagues flooded with quality, Dutch etc. Look at Swansea, signed that Spanish CB for peanuts. Our transfer targets are so obviousComment

Because we need an english spine with players that know the Championship.. I don't like Upson at all and never have, but no matter Upson or Dunne, I can see exactly what Harry is doing.Comment

The Dutch Germans and Scandanavians have a very similar attitude to football as we do and imo would fit in wellComment

If Clint can do a half decent job - then Upson certainly can.
We need character and experience to get out of this division (remember last time?)..... and ASAP if we're not to go bankrupt.....Comment
