tbh British players are the best options for the Championship. They know the league inside out and used to playing midweeks.

Would be an outstanding signing. After his achilles injury he wasn't the same player at Spurs, if he was then we'd be up against West Ham & Palace for him. Keep him fit and we'll have an excellent midfield with him, Jenas and Ali.

I think the same could be said for the premier league. Gerrard and Carragher are liverpool through and through and you will never replace that spirit
