I think I read somewhere that he wasn't due back until later in the week because of the Confederation cup.

Might not be a popular view but we need a centre back and Anton is an option so why spend money on a centre back?

If Anton is on decent wages & there's an offer for him to leave okay, but I wouldn't mind him as back up in the Championship( NOT in the PL however ) he won't be ahead of Samba, Onuoha & Hill.

Not sure how others feel about that but I don't think any club should buy too many players
