    Harry Maguire

Not sure what the transfer fee would be if we signed him, but I have just found a site where it lists most players basic wages before bonuses etc.
He currently earns £9890 a week at Sheff Utd.

    Cheap for upcoming England Centreback.
Think we need to move now.

Yes we need to buy this sort of age, but not sure how good he is.

Saddens me just how mad this world has become.

People are actually saying £10k a week for a League One footballer is "cheap"

Over HALF A MILL a year for heading a ball away.... oh my days
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

They say Sheffield UTD is a special club as far as wages is concerned. After all They are a huge club with a good following.

You make a good point shania and being sheff united they can probably afford to pay just that little bit more than most in league two. However, 10k at that level still seems way over the top.

10k a week is ridiculous! My mate who plays for Gillingham gets £750 a week (not to be sniffed at at all) so 10k is madness!

It is big money, and add to this he would appear to have a very good agent who wrangled that deal, so if "big spending" QPR showed interest, imagine what he'd wrangle out of our mob.
