exactly, so who would pay that much for him now? I think he can be worth a lot more than that though in the future but for now, I doubt many would come in for him."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

I seem to recall loads of articles have said that in order to put off potential suitors, we would value taarabt at that ridiculous sum. It might just be paper talk but it makes sense what with the spurs sell on clause in his contract so selling him for less than that would be a wasteOriginally posted by MattyRangers View PostWhere have we come out & said we value Tarbs at that mate?"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. You're nuts if you think either of those will be playing for QPR in the championship.Originally posted by nasser95 View PostReally... so Taarabt and Remy don't seem to stand out from the rest of the npc strikers?Top Scorers 2018/2019

In any case, back to danny simpson:
QPR manager Harry Redknapp is signing Newcastle right-back Danny Simpson. The 26-year-old had attracted interest from Italian side Torino but was keen to move to London.
This seems to confirm his desire to join and our desire to have him. hopefully it will be that start of a raft of early changes around here
And This:

Stranger things have happened at this club. I'm not ruling out that they could leave, but I don't think we should assume it until the deal is done. For me, until that moment, they are qpr players and our attack should be focused around themOriginally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostYou're nuts if you think either of those will be playing for QPR in the championship."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Please tell me you meant 10m not 10quid!Originally posted by Yousef View PostTaarabt is no even worth £10 imo.
Adel will be with us imo as no one will come in for him for the money we want. Remy answers bail in September so that might put off other clubs, then again he will probably get a letter in the post saying no need to come to the station as there is probably no evidence against him except a girl wanting to get a pay day, so someone might take that risk.@chrisrobson9

If you were a chairman would you buy Remi for £8m while he's on bail for a rape charge?Originally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostYou're nuts if you think either of those will be playing for QPR in the championship.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Which would be a shame as Tarbs finds that extra bit of space in the championship. Then again Warnock was his daddy and it worked brilliantly, Harry is just an agent in disguise. Let's hope the old wheeler dealer can manage to get some serious motivation spread about the place, that is what's been missing. Still far too much dead wood down the bush.Originally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostYou're nuts if you think either of those will be playing for QPR in the championship.
BTW Ninja keep up the ins n outs, best source.....

How can you say that? How can you possibly rate him higher without having seen him play? You're critizing posters for being obsessed with the lad without having seen him. And now you're putting him behind Troare without knowing his quality.Originally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostWhy is everyone obsessed with Yun?!
I'd have Traore there over him.

Judging but what the board refused to pay Bridge, Simpson won't be on alot at all.Originally posted by W12hoops View PostBy the way, Simpson is a decent signing IMO. Wonder what wage he's demanding for stepping down a division..You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
