PMs me please ric, if you worried about a backlash posting it on the forumOriginally posted by Ric-Roc View PostGot hammered last time mate. I'll let someone else spill the beans. Lets just say highly unprofessional conduct & also squabbling over IMO peanuts considering what some think he wanted wages wise.

Appreciate your knowledge Ric. So in your view form what you know the deal wanted by Bridge was not unreasonable??Originally posted by Ric-Roc View PostI ain't saying sh!t on here or PM's but unbelievable tbh. Can't say I'm surprised with non football people conducting transfer dealings. I'm sure it will be out there v soon. Harry on the brink though it seems for sure.

It was always going to be the way because of his lack of football experience. You can't blame Beard though for accepting the job. TF messed up big time there. Beard's a business suit with the title of CEO - not Director of Football / technical director. It seems like only the fans can see this glaring error and have long been saying he needs someone working alongside him. Beard has overseen the transfer dealings and negotiations for the last three windows which have proved how hopelessly out of his depth he's been considering the type of contracts and salaries that have been dished out. All the proof has been in the pudding.Originally posted by NortholtRanger View PostThink the tide will turn against Phil Beard very soon.
Impressed early on but has been found wanting.

With respect don't think you can look at the Bridge deal in isolation. Along with Chelsea we are the most indebted club IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. And we have just been relegated, losing massive tv rights. and we have a massive squad of aged, highly paid players. And harry wanted to add another one without having off-loaded a single one first. what these "non football people" understand is a quite simple point to grasp outside the world of football - if you don't have the money, you can't spend it. If the demands are so modest why don't any fans desperate to have wayne "i'd rather have a round of golf than play football" bridge here and pay his "modest" wages have a whip round...?Originally posted by Ric-Roc View PostNot at all.

How many other players has Fernandez refused to sign then that his three managers have requested? Think you would be hard pushed to find a single other owner in world football who has been quite so accomodating to his managers demands in the last couple of years. you cd argue, if anything, he has been too accomodating.Originally posted by Ric-Roc View PostYou don't have to say yes to every player a manager wants you know that right?
You need someone advising the board who is knowledgable about players and their worth. Sometimes you just have to say no for the good of the club.

and its thanks to these "non football people" we are in this position, huge debts incurred all for the attainment of relegation....nice one.Originally posted by stainrodisalegend View PostWith respect don't think you can look at the Bridge deal in isolation.
