Queens Park Rangers supremo Tony Fernandes has moved quickly to stamp out speculation that boss Harry Redknapp may be on his way from the club.

The Cockney boss, 67, has been linked with a shock move to Everton over the weekend as rumours grow that the relegated Hoops can't afford to keep their £3 million a year manager.

I think a statement from Harry confirming his commitment is long overdue its such an easy thing it does make me wonder why he hasn't just done it. Lets be honest he's not exactly shy of the media and a few words would settle down most of the doubters. Im not really sure where i stand on 1 hand i was very disapointed with his impact on the team towards the end of the season. But then i don't think Sir Alex himself could have motivated that lot to exceed what we achieved so maybe my view of not being bothered if Harry goes is wrong and he is the man to lead us going forward

Hasn't Harry already said he's taken a big pay cut due to relegation so i doubt he's on £3million now. Anyway i'd be more worried about paying the likes of Granero Bosingwa and Park their £3million plus a year. For me Fernandes is doing the right thing in backing Harry then its all about what Harry wants to do gonna be interesting to see what happens.

Once Martinez is finally confirmed as new everton boss and there are no other possible takers......we will receive Harrys statement about how much he loves QPR and is really looking forward to getting 'us' back where 'we' belong........
