I agree with Stainrod, hard worker and nice guy though he is, Ephraim is far short of the quality needed to make an impact in the Championship.

Will be a bit part squad player.

As Tony, Phil B and Harry met Friday and this news has just come out, I'm guessing perhaps Redknapp was told to make do with what he already has and budgets could be fairly limited?

With the amount of players currently taking this club for a ride I cant see the budget being minimal but I think he'll have to sell a bit before he has any serious transfer budget

He was excellent at the start of the 2010-11 season.

He only looked good when he was on loan before he signed permanently - and at the time we were still recovering from Marcus Bean and John Curtis, so Matty as a nippy winger probably would have looked impressive...

The start of the promotion season Ephraim, Taarabt, Helgusson and Mackie all seemed to have a great connection in the final third which resulted in some big wins.

Fair point he was OK then, and I do agree he has a good attitude which after the season we have had is important. But think he was helped by good players around him. I just find it funny that perhaps the majority on here seem delighted that Hogan is back but are only too pleased to see Adel go (I'm not saying that's the case with you, as don't know your view on Adel). One scored 19 odd goals and had a similar number of assists, the other scored how many goals and had how many assists? It just seems funny that about the one moment everyone can remember about Hogan in an Rs shirt is him getting sent of, yet he will somehow improve our squad...

Yes we need players with a good attitude but imo he runs like a girl, and he is always in and out of games, sadly mainly out.
I remember watching him and then seeing the lineup in the paper the next morning thinking oh Hogan started.

Think your totally wrong ,showed enough in the last few games to give us good options and CB and RB,we will need players with experience, this is the reason HR has sent him to Toronto on loan for 6 weeks so he comes back fitter and ready to have a solid pre season

Can defo do a job & 150% better effort levels & attitude than 90% of the wasters currently playing for us.
