Should H make a fresh move for Jake Livermore aswell as raiding their other young players

I reckon we should make a bid for Vertonghen & Dembele. Both do a job for us next year.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I wish mate Not unless you're willing to part with probably the best part of £40m for the pair, both mustard players IMO.

But on a serious note, they do have a few players that would make good additions; the obvious 1 for me is the previously linked Parker. But as you say that Livermore wouldn't be too shabby either.

Livermore probably the only one that would drop down to the champs but even he will no doubt have suitors in the premiership.

The only people who seem to rate Livermore are Ranger supporters. I know a few Sud fans and they could not care less if he left.

In fairness, they're a club looking for Champions League football, we're a club looking to to get out of the Championship - our levels of quality players are, quite literally, leagues apart.

I would take Livermore for sure and that right back Smith. Two good youngsters that you could start building a team around.

A few decent players that may be on their way spring to mind - Livermore, Bostock, Naughton, Parker, Huddlestone and Kane - just a shame that if Townsend is pushed out, someone like Norwich or West Ham will get him

its about where you are at. Livermore is no Modric or Parker but Livermore on one leg would be better than all the current QPR CMs put together. Good attitude too.

But tbh it don't really matter if Spurs, Tranmere, or Barcelona are having a clear out because unless HR persuades TF to sell the flops there is no space in the squad.

Rumour is that Palace may be interested in livermore if he's as good as some on here seem to think the lets hope Harry can sway the deal in our favour. Mk fan at work rates the spurs lad Smith although its a bit hard to judge these things as he thought Townsend was poor in his Mk loan deal.

Why would TF need persuading to sell the flops? He's already said he's not happy with the attitude of some players so I don't think there'll be a need for HR to do any persuading.

I'm sure the management and board know who they want to shift and I think we will see their ruthless sides this summer. The flops have made TF and HR look like a right pair of c@nts.

TF is a good media man as we know, but I reckon he's got a real nasty side to him when people let him down. You don't get to his station in life by letting people take the gypsy's. This summer and beyond we'll see a different TF who'll be ably assisted by HR, who is one of the shrewdest operators in the business.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Agree there won't be an issuing of persuading TF. The challenge will be persuading any other clubs to take them off our hands. Other newly promoted and struggling Prem clubs will have seen the attitude and work rate of some of these players and also clocked their ridiculous wages and where we ended up and I doubt they will touch many of them with a barge pole. I laughed at Norwich for the dross they were buying (or so it seemed to me) but I was shown up to be completely clueless because they managed to build a team whereas we just assembled a squad of lazy over-paid misfits. Who would pay even £20,000 a week for a crocked Johnson or Zamora or a clapped out Park? Our best hope is probably some weird club in the UAE or Russia.
