happy enough with that team except that I am not sure that Hoilett will stay, and if he does, perform consistently. An Mackie, if he can reproduce his early season form of 2010/11 i.e. before he got capped, then yes, but somehow I doubt he will. Even then, he doesn't seem to actually provide width or deliever crosses. I would rather have another winger and use Mackie as a sub.
Green
Harriman Onuoha Samba Yun
Jenas Faurlin
Mackie Taarabt Routledge
New striker (Beckford,Gayle, Simone Jackson That kind of player)
Subs Camp Hill Diakite Ehmer, Johnson Bothroyd, DJ Cambell
Despite the bs Redknapp says we've actually or a lot of talent here for the Championship & don't need major changes coming into the club (but do need a lot of changes going out)
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
Answering for him, can only assume he means players that have proven themselves at that level, ie Bothroyd, Derry, Faurlin, DJ, Mackie etc.
I'm not convinced Derry will get through a 46-game season. Faurlin doesn't seem to be the same player after his injury. I don't believe DJ is in Harry's plans. Bothroyd didn't do well on loan recently. We no longer have the likes of Smith HH Buzz Kenny.
Hughes dismantled the title-winning team so I'm not sure how West Sussex ranger can say we have a 'quality' championship winning team. A guess yes, but far from convincing.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
