    Subbuteo was the only time I've ever used an iron :pleasantsuprise:
    Hahah yet another great story Tblock!! Yes, Rugby as well.... the football was always the flagship game though!

    As for using the iron, I used to use a clothes brush to get that stripy Wembley pitch effect on the baize...worked a treat!!!

      Since I have been playing it again over the last few years, we originally played with a lego ball which is much smaller than the subbuteo ball and quite a bit harder to control. We have reverted to the standard ball now due to the low-scoring matches!
