Ade was on here a few weeks back and said when a name is mentioned everyone latches onto it, and says yes thats who we should sign. And i agree people hear a name and instantly think yes thats who we need...

So pete i assume you knew everyone would say Hooper on this thread...

Thing is, i think most of us, if not all were totally shocked when the thread was created on here by scott saying we were in for Hooper, had you asked this question before that thread got put up i firmly believe a fair number would have said Hooper as the ideal striker to sign, its just we didnt think our board would do it!!!!..

So im going for Hooper, if were willing to put a bid in for him, and now i know he is infact on our radar imo he would be totally ideal!!!!....

Scores goals, thats our missing piece to the puzzel!!..

I keep hearing, that we need a striker. We've got Simpson..

Apart from Beckford (who is still at :LeedS UNITED), name me a striker we could ALL agree on. I'm basically saying, as being proved by Simpson, not everyone agrees he will be good for us. Some have written him off after playing 70 minutes !!

So, what one striker could we all agree on.

Who would have liked to see signed?

whats the criteria tho

does he have to be a free

does he have to be a loan

can his goalscoring record be better then, say 1 in 7

does he have to be a reserve team player

does he have to be signed on a 4 year deal

if yes to any of the above, then not interested :bad_smile:

Agree..his is getting on but you dont lose your goalscoring touch and he is a goal scorer!!! at 33 still some miles left in his tank.
