I've been looking at some of the players that have been released by prem clubs and his name stood out i'd much rater him than another sicknote like carlton cole. I know Wigan followed us down but they have a few decent players out of contract well decent enough to do a very good job in the championship and the wages would fit more into a club of our stature.

jackson would be a good punt. Not premier league class but can do a job in the champ, i think he has had discipline problems so would fit in well with usComment
