We don't know anywhere near enough to have a clue what has happened yet, and probably won't until it's done.

As far as Ched Evans goes, that's not exactly an impartial source. I don't know the specifics the case well, but I imagine he had the best lawyers money could buy, yet was found guilty and has had two attempts at appealing knocked back. Also I'm not really sure why you say she's "opportunistic". What exactly did she get out of the case, besides having to testify in court and very minor compensation from a few idiots who named her on Twitter? The fact that you will still blame the victim even in a case where a conviction has been made is pretty disgusting, IMO.

Anyway, with this Loic thing let's just see what happens. It's not like we know anything at this point, so to make assumptions either way is dumb.

The victim got picked up by Evans' mate at a Kebab Shop minutes before the supposed rape and openly admits to remembering nothing of the "rape" due to being blind drunk. How on earth could any judge and jury send a guy to jail for 5 years based on the testimony of someone who goes back to a blokes hotel room minutes after meeting him and admits they can't remember a thing?

From what I've read on this case, Ched Evans has been guilty of some pretty appalling, seedy, drunken sexual antics but rape? I very much doubt it.

So he has been bailed till September. Thats gotta mean he is stuck with us cos no one is gonna buy him and go thro all the pre season with that hanging over him.

Also the Daily Mail says he has been bailed until September, and that he still expects to leave QPR this summer. I can't see how any other team would want to sign him under these circumstances.

the grey area lies with (not saying this is the remy or ched case):
bloke and girl go back to room
bloke says "do you want to have sex?"
girl says "yes"
next day turns out girl can't remember it (and it does happen memory loss)

is that rape? She technically said "yes". he technically asked but turns out she was too drunk to make a decision she wouldn't regret.

granted if she's comatosed on the floor and you've had to drag her 5 flights of stairs and undress her that's rape. but i've have "conversations" with my mates in the pub on a friday and made it home to bed on a nightbus - woken up the next day with phone, keys, wallet on the table, tucked up in bed...with no memory of what happened...but for all intents and purposes i was fine because i was chatting away and was able to make my way home
