So you can now tell us who you were expecting, if loans or perms and the reason why things changed....

I would imagine it very unlikely if they are going to sell they will want the money so that they can replace him! That's going to be impossible now before January so we won't get him until at least then...

As reported on the beep - a fairly uneventful transfer deadline day.

I would imagine that many names are banded about by agents.I would also imagine that the Watson loan took up a lot of time.

The Hooper enquirey was interesting, but as a previous poster has mentioned - if Scunny cant replace, why sell....They are not a very good team and they will need Hooper.

Thanks Pete, would have been great if we had got Bale, Folan and/or hooper The fact we were after these players clearly shows intent from the club.

I still think HH may turn into a goal scoring machine, he gets the chances so just maybe he could turn things around. Sods law we sell him and then he hits top form!!!

Why are we still chasing players that we were after, TWO MANAGERS AGO........smells of jim not choosing his own players, despite what he says on the offi.

But why a short space of time? Have we not had long enough knowing we needed a striker and therefore long enough to bid or were we doing the ebay thing and trying to do it last minute . com? Do we not have a replacement for them we could have added to the deal or do Scunny think our strikers that bad?
