Here, dot.org and qprreport dont earn anyone a frigging thing
Did I say you earnt a frigging thing?

Nope, I would think the kudos of high hits is enough for you - which you have basically proved by your posts in this very thread.

And I'd be very interested to hear Clive's view on your statement above.
How the hell can something be set-up as "profit making" and in the same sentence say they probably get negative.

I want your accountant- talk like that can get you off paying tax!!

Of course - with the carrots being hung out about mid December. In fact, they are already being "previewed" aren't they?

Rumours are fun - sometimes funny, sometimes ridiculous, sometimes annoying. (dotorg today for instance)
But, I pretty much sit back and watch all the sites without posting much and see who knows what and who's points are to be paid attention to.
Pete - you ARE one of those, as you do seem to know a lot more than certainly I do. But that 's what makes the carrot dangling so bloody obvious.

i'm sure clive will confirm this.

at some point he may have made enough cash - in the heh days to buy himself a couple of maccy ds. LFWs and the network was set up as a money making exercise.

NOT by clive i hasten to add.

At some point he may have got. if he was lucky £50 a month. Compared to the time and effort he puts in that was, at the time, JACK.

And i'm 100% sure he didnt do it for money!

Now, he probably gets 22p a year. And again i stress that he aint in it for that.

Just stressing that people think we all make £££..when in reality none of us does.

Again - why the defence of alleged profit?
              I didn't bring this up.

I was talking about hits to the site - you made the jump to "therefore profit".

I think you really need help Mr Clunge, how many times do I have to explain this to you?

Are you saying that I want this site to go down because it only ever does when it gets busy, I think everyone but you knows this.

If our members don't want to visit your site or any other QPR site because WATRB.com is down is up to that person, just maybe they don't like the bull they have to read on your site.

Let me remind you again what it was like if you have forgotten?

When this site goes down you will see threads after threads on other sites about WATRB but the minute it's back you here nothing and that Mr Clunge is FACT!

I think you will find that people have had enough of reading that rubbish and that's the reason why sites are losing members nothing else.

The numbers on other sites did go up, not by much but did go up, I feel those numbers shows that fact that if they couldn't visit WATRB.com they would rather sit with their family or take time out then read the rubbish that was being posted about WATRB.com

Fans visit QPR sites to here news and not about WATRB and that is what was happening at the time. WATRB was the number threads on other sites, not all but some.

What ever forum we use you keep bringing the numbers up, please tell me if it was that easy to fiddle the stats why other websites don't do it?

Report has proboards, he would do it if he could but the truth is you can't, the other truth is you don't seem to like the truth because you keep bring it back up time after time.

If you want to see real stats Mr Cludge, login early hours of the morning where you will see very few online and also remember we have people from over 66 different countries who visit this site. I know you don't like to here all that and makes you feel very bitter but that Mr Clunge is fact!

You live in a Dreamland but this is The Fantasy Island my friend.

Hits to the site will soon come in handy when we get the time to go out and get advertising, we will need it then.

Right now hits mean nothing to the site regarding profit and the more hits we get the money out of my pocket to make sure we don't crash.

Today is an example, by january I will have to invest in more Ram so that we don't go down again and that will cost an extra £17+VAT a month on top of the £79+VAT each month the dedicated server cost.

Right now I'd rather we have a few people online, it would save me money.

And again - the link to profit from my comment about hits and a staunch defence about how much it actually costs.

I have never mentioned that you lot are coining it in.

You know what I am referring to - I mentioned the word "Kudos" before.

But - whether for profit or the acclaim of having the "busiest QPR site" - does not detract from obvious posts designed to stimulate traffic.
And this is not a knee-jerk reaction to today - this is after observation of many posts over a period.

Believe it or not - I like Pete (without having met him) and I think he lets himself in for abuse through a genuine desire to share info, to share what he, as a fan, is excited or concerned about.
But others certainly appear to hang-off the sites relative success and are only too happy to shout how good "we are".
Attention seeking some might say. Smug and annoying I would say.

Andy my post was not for you so please accept my apology if taken that way.

If and when this site starts making money to cover costs, I'm sure you all will know about it and it will not be hidden from our members.

I know the members of this site actually want the site to be self funded and it also mean a better future for the site and our members.

Theres still a long way to go before we manage to do this.
