I thought he did quite well for QPR and would have preferred to have kep him rather than sign Ferdinand.

I don't think we should have kept him, nor Tommy, because we thought we wouldn't be a decent PL players

I thought Tommy Smith did alright for QPR in the Premiership in the few games he played for QPR last season.
As for Connolly, how many gamers did he get to play in the Premier League for QPR? How can we judge him on a a couple of apps. Who's to say he wouldnt have performed better than Gabbidon, Hall or Ferdinand last and this season. He could have also provided cover at Left back rather than play Hill and would surely have been a far better..,and cheaper option than Bos-couldn't careless-ingwa at right back.

P.S. it isnt hindsight, becuase I said he should have been kept and selected last season too. He earnt promotion and therefor the right to ply his trade in the Prem League and I salted Warnock for not giving him and Gorkss the chance to.

Always liked him & thought he got a raw deal. Him & Gorkss had the best record in the Football League when we went up, and we replaced em with Anton & Gabbidon
