I'd hate to be the Sunderland chairman

"Can I have a few word Di Canio?"
    "Yeah, pi$$ off"
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

6-1 who saw that coming ?
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Di Canio will get found out big time next season, his first couple of wins were due to the "new manager bounce" (which we never seem to get btw!)

Be interesting to see how he reacts after this, Sunderland far from safe.

I fancied Villa tonight, but to lose 6-1 speaks volumns of modern day footballers, all they are concerned with is their wages
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

                  Villa were quality yesterday.

What is annoying is that many of the teams we have played this season haven't played well against us including Villa away but they still picked up maximum points because we either messed up &/or were simply s***. Really wasn't that hard to stay up in this league but we were incapable of even doing the basics.

Agree when they got him it was that type of performance I was expecting from him and his teams
