They should have asked "If you do stay will you be taking a massive wage drop... or is it the money you are after?"

true but not to the extent that it has happened this year - 4 wins all season, having a laugh. Good player though. Would like to keep all the jan transfers but probably not possible.

TF said himself in an interview ages ago, he's on nothing like the £100k the media were saying, and there'sd a clause for a reduction if we got relegated.

£60k now, down to £40k now relegated.

If true Matty, He should have only been drawing £25k of that, if he is now admiting he wasn't up to the job he was getting paid for :rage:
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Take it easy man. The club knew what they were paying him and how his fit he was.

It is true to say that the Premier League is far more demanding than the Russuan league and so it would make sense to say that he hasn't really been fit enough.
Hopefully if he does stay he will be on a reduced wage and that he will be a lot better next season.

Maybe Give Onouha a run in the Championship alongside Samba... no body will mess with those 2.

Would be a great captain and with onouha would be a fantastic pairing for next season, I would also make him captain and give him license to sort out anyone who is slacking and to have a big influence on the dressing room. He would be just the sort of charachter needed to sort out the rubble we have had this year. Hughes and his band of merry men destroyed the spirit Warnock had created we now need to try to get it back.

Would you take a cut in salary for being ill at your work? Same thing...... Bet you wouldn't.
