the one player I would most like to stay is the least likely to
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Agree mate one of the few that can also hold his head up high.

I know its wrong of me to think this but on a purely selfish view would not mind him picking up a slight niggling injury pre season to stop prem clubs snapping him up until the window shuts then he would have to stay and play. Would like to think if were at the right end of the table when the window opens again he would stay put!!!

I am still holding out hope, I would either loan him out or ask him to stay until Xmas and see where we are, if he is scoring a bag full of goals in the chumpionship he would still be in the public eye and more importantly for him, noticed by the French manager?

Remy backs up his words on the field, a real class act, IF we managed to keep hold of him we would be bang on favourites to come straight back up

Loaning for a year wouldn't be a bad shout

Arsenal would be front runners to get him - buy or loan - IMO

Actually, i think its liverpool, arsenal seem to be getting Jovetic so they don't need him

don't think he fancies the championship, Barnsley and Charlton or Old Trafford and Anfield.
                    Tough choice for him!

I remember he was quoted saying he loved working with redknapp and we all know how good redknapp is at keeping his stars (Bale, Modric, Vdv stayed until after he left)

True, but they had the carrot of the Premiership in their favour at Spurs to keep those players.
