Thought our main priority was to get in a good striker, happy with watson but its only a loan.

So at the end of the day the club still failed to address our obvious weakness, not a great success after a promising start.

Exactly the word is a few are going out on loans and I would presume some of them are strikers yet we didn't buy anyone to replace them. Jay Simpson could prove good but it's too early to say! If only we had got in on Hooper earlier then I've no doubt we would have got him! Shame the Bale move didn't come off but it was always going to be unlikely but a major coup if it did happen!

As for the Watson deal that is a good move and well done to the board on that just a shame we have further strengthened our strongest position rather than sort out our weaknesses!

If the board were serious they would do what some of you have suggested - offer to loan him, perhaps with a view to buy. that gives them time to find a replacement on loan as well. If they don't do that it does make you wonder about their motives in offering what was never going to be enough money.
