  • So...has this transfer window...

    ...inspired, or unispired you???

Persoanlly, the Ben Watson signing is fantastic. The Simpson one is not a great as it could have been without a strike partner to help.

All-in-all...not the greates news we've ever had.

I'm reletively happy, but dissapointed at the same time.

We'll see how the loan window pans out.

            Only loans in.

But we might loan some out.
            Or loan some in.

            When the loan window opens.

But only to be expected. Pleased with Watson and Simpson though... on loan.
We need to trim down. But now they can only be loaned out.

Bit of a trend there, eh?

Deep pockets, short arms, and still one (even bigger) MESS.

good signing made in watson but not what we need

another window goes by and we still don't have that striker.

tis not a spanner..he's on loan and we have options to buy him, send him back or possibly extend.

the plan being if we're doing well, as he wants prem football, then we'll buy him

and if we don't do well he goes back and we are back to the same position as before he came.....so how is that moving in the right direction......its still all if's and buts.

That just makes us sound more of a joke really.

If we're not in the playoffs...let's WEAKEN the squad by letting Watson go back.

If they'd sorted a decent striker and offered Scunny a deal they couldn't refuse, ie., £1.5-2m PLUS either Heider or Aggy on loan until they want them, as well as signing a decent LB...well...I'd have massively fancied our chances.

Trouble is, not matter how good the defence and midfield gets...it means nothing unless we have sufficiant fire power up top...someting we clearly lack, even with Simpson.

I'd love to hear the promised Watson and Simpson were made to get them to join...

Yes lads, we'll sign a goal scorer and various other players if you sign for the Queens Park Range...Muuuuuaaaaahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

Trouble is Scott, as I said in my last post ^^^^^^^^^ we still don't have the requird fire power to be up there.

This is why the Ben Watson deal now seems pointless which is a shame as he's an exceptional player.

what i don't get is why chase players on the last day of the transfer window.....as said elsewhere scunthorpe would not have had enough time to find a replacement so obvious they were gonna say no......it aint rocket science
