But if he has got a release clause it wouldn't matter.Originally posted by MYU View PostRemy would score for fun in that division.
This also let's other clubs know that we will not sell for a reduced price.
Saying that though, no-one really knows what value that release clause is.
We wouldn't be that stupid to make it the £8million we paid for him.
It could be that the release value is higher

He might not even have one, which means we can ask for what we want.
If he does have one, it might only be 10 mil, so hope he don't have one.
He is the real deal and a player that could get 20 mil + easy. Everyone is looking for a player like him in the world of football.

I think it's the wrong approach. That's not say we won't get lucky and be promoted, but if we don't the club is going to be in very serious trouble. Our wage bill was 56 mil before the last two windows. It's not unreasonable to think it will pushing 80 mil for this season. The Championship's median wage bill is around 15 mil. I'm a little worried about the extent to which our board likes to gamble, especially when they seem to be on a losing streak.Originally posted by dsqpr View PostQUOTE:

Agree, but he will also get smashed to pieces in that league. For a big lump CB playing for Leeds or some s**t like that the only way to stop him will be to hurt him.Originally posted by MYU View PostRemy would score for fun in that division.

I beleive Remy does have a release clause for £8M which I'm sure someone will be prepared to pay. all article says all players with a contract will be asked to stay to try and get us back up but will not be sold on the cheap
also I dont think Harry will not want some of them here and will try to off load them
REMY please stay PLEASE PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE first real goalscorer since Les
