The booing he got in that game against Liverpool wasn't just about that one game.

He'd been mediocre at best for ages before that, and lacking any of the qualities you've attributed to him there. Half a dozen decent games after he'd been humiliated by his own fans doesn't show him as having guts and passion.

Neither does losing his rag after getting sent off. A petulant temper tantrum followed by trying to blame it on his teammates doesn't suggest he's one you'd want in the trenches with you.

Lol our whole team is only here for the money! At least Barton would have earned some of it but there is no way Fernandes can have him back at Rangers (and no way he would come back and play for Fernandes either) He would be bad for PR and thats all Fernandes cares about.
