as over the moon i am about getting watson (quality signing, new best midfielder) 3/11 of our team is now going to be loanees (4/11 if bale comes) and therein lies the problem - there is a lack of long-term progress being made (unless we have permanent agreements in place for these players)

and also we still need a striker so so so desperately!!!!!!!!!! until we address this problem (including left back) i still cant see us breaking into the top 6

one last thing - would i still be right in saying that we have brought more in through transfer fees than spent this summer??

would like us to actually spend some money (we all know faurling didnt cost 3.5m)

but seriously, good news about watson UNLESS there is no view to a permanent move

i know all we do is loan all the time and free transfers. look how many since flav has been here. sayin that, pleased with who we brought in... cos if we do well we could end up keepin simpson and watson... i think taarabt will go regardless of how well we do, same if we get bale. but still going back a few weeks ago... when it seemed we werent gonna do any business, have to say im pleased
