Wd be a million times better than Folan and Stead IMHO. The other two are seasoned old war horses who have been around - neither bad, neither that great - and unlikely to get us the goals to get us promoted. Hooper maybe more of a gamble but lots more potential.

Hooper would be a great addition, much better proposition than Stead or Folan and even Beckford as we could maybe get him for half the amount (£1.5m maybe?)

I'm telling you, I'll be very dissapointed if we don't pursue this. Either him or Beckford could be a vital signing and Hooper is the more likely. I'd like to take Hooper now and try for Jermaine again in the Jan window. Of course, getting Beckford then would be tough as the competition would be greater, but if we've already got Hooper, I'd be less dissapointed.
