    Diakite

Looked pretty rusty and unfit, but that little run up the touchline got the juices going. Think he could be a big player for us next season if he stays. Did more in 15 minutes than Granero did in 75 at least.

I still think there a decent player in him as he has the raw potential i.e. pace, skill little bit of fire in his belly

Now what he needs is someone to put there arm around him and coach him how to play the game as the rest is there. Do we have anyone at Rangers who can or is willing to do that

Diakite and Mbia in midfield sounds scary and a f...ing mental idea....but I love it. Two nutters who can be terrible but great with it!

Don't forget we got faurlin coming back too, hopefully we keep him, he's lethal in the championship.

I think many of us were counting on Diakite having a good season for us after the way he finished last campaign, just like most everything else it hasn't worked out that way!

Very rusty but a good player. I hope Redknapp realised this when watching him in training.

The first and last time Diakite and Mbia were paired, we got annihilated by Liverpool 3-0, never again!

I mean on the training ground will any staff invest anytime in developing the lad and teaching him his trade to go with his natural ability

That's what QPR used to be good at we used to get a rough diamond cheap, spend some time polishing and making it shine then making a profit lets get back to what we were good at proper coaching of our players instead of trying to solve every problem with money

This. He could be a quality player and, hopefully for us, will be. Not sure he would want to stick about in the CCC though.

Not sure given all the problems he has had this season, that anybody will come in for him. Also I don't think his contract has a clause regarding the championship. At the end of last season I believe the club knew that he had a problem. You might recall it was a long time before they actually signed him.

Anybody know how Faurlin has been doing at Palermo. I notice on his twitter account he keeps wishing QPR well, so he is still thinking of the club.
