Can anyone honestly see Townsend wanting to play in the Championship next season? Get real people please... He'll either get a game at Spuds like Walker or end up at somewhere like Everton or Wet Spam or maybe even a newly promoted team but I'd wager he won't be playing for us next season... Alas...:(

Townsend has previously been loaned out to League One clubs so I don't think Townsend himself will mind being loaned out to a Championship club for a season, especially seeing as though he seems to have clicked with us and I'm sure Harry still being manager would be quite a big plus for him.

No chance he will be with us in the Championship!!! He said he loves the club, so what? They all kiss their badges, run over to us fans for hugs and celebrations, tell us they feel at home at QPR, love the club and the people who run it. He's hardly going to say "Yeh to be honest I can't wait to get the fark off this sinking ship"

Remy is worth a hell of a lot more than £6 million plus Townsend. Sturridge 15 million and Borini 12 million tells me 16-20 million pound player. Very rare to have a player who is lightning quick and scores goals for fun. Them sort of players are priceless in the modern game. Remember Zamora was around the 6 million mark and I think that should say it all.
