Nelsen and Samba at the back would have given us more of a chance. I love Clint Hill for his passion but in reality, he's a poor CB, he can head the ball and kick it up the pitch, very little composure and I always worry that he's gonna get skinned by someone small and fast. everyone knew the priority was CB in the summer but Hughes thought it was more important to load up our midfield with ****.

not sure some of our players would have that kind of fight in them. blood and guts does'nt sit pretty with our present team.Originally posted by QPRWEBBIE View Postso if TF decided to bankroll 1 season to get back into the prem and our current squad stayed, would we win the league remembering its more a blood and guts performances that will be needed ?PRIDE OF LONDON.

Now there is a logical fallacy if I ever saw one. Can't imagine the current inept squad chasing promotion to the PL any more than it has tried to stave off relegation from the PL.Originally posted by QPRWEBBIE View Postso if TF decided to bankroll 1 season to get back into the prem and our current squad stayed...Banning people is no longer my hobby,

Agree totally, swede.Originally posted by swede View PostWith him in the team we would have been in a better position. Many strange decisions this season, by managers and players, but this one - letting your best defender go when we are fighting for our lives - is beyond me. I don`t blame Nelsen but the one who said "ok" to a man who was our player.
He was under contract to play for us, and at the height of a dour battle against relegation, to decide to make a career move then, takes all the gloss off his time with us for me.
Should have been told in no uncertain terms, 'you go when you have done your bit to ensure the club's safety from relegation, and not a moment before."Last edited by BUSHRANGER1982; 09-04-2013, 12:58 PM.

It's a tough one to call, I wish he would have seen out his contract as he was very solid in the center of our defence but I truly believe the bloke when he said he was shattered physically! In an interview over here he mentioned about not even enjoying the victory over the European Champs because he was in so much pain when the match ended! FWIW he's doing a decent job as Toronto FC manager, the team is looking much more organized and competetive this season through a very tough start to the schedule!@gatorTFC

Frankly gator, mate.....It's worth damn all. We were in serious trouble, and that's the time Ryan decides on a career move? I don't buy all that 'I was in so much pain' bilge, myself.Originally posted by gator View PostFWIW he's doing a decent job as Toronto FC manager, the team is looking much more organized and competetive this season through a very tough start to the schedule!

I agree, it's all about Rangers survival and I think he would have helped, injured or not, the fact is Toronto would have held the managers job for him until May because they brought in a very capable assistant! Nothing can be done now, I just hope he turns out to be a good manager!Originally posted by BUSHRANGER1982 View PostFrankly gator, mate.....It's worth damn all.
