Good post, this season is a right off but we'll come back stronger. RTID!
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

Don't think it was down to kindness as you don't get to where he is in business by being a "nice guy". He just wanted to instill some stability at the club, which I think we all did after the previous 4 years of mayhem with the Orange one in charge.

He showed he could be ruthless when he needed to be when getting rid of Warnock. Just a shame Hughes turned out to be a complete disaster. Don't think even Nostradamus could have seen that one coming.

Maybe, but if the board aim for as quick a return to the premiership as possible, wage cuts won't figure high on their agenda.
If they do decide to make savings, then we could be in for quite a stay in the championship. As ever, it will be a gamble either way.

ANOTHER summer of a busy revolving door - hasn't really worked too well last 4 transfer windows has it?

i was with hammersmith r , he was very upset and so too were those with him...he does care and want us to do well.
i hope the board will reflect, hughes was a disaster and he was kept on 2 months (at least) too long.
now, it's how we do business in the summer and how we hit the ground, whatever we do, other clubs will see us as "big boys" ( yep , mad as that seems ...) and will want to beat us.

I know, which means it's going to be twice as tough next year.

Spot on Lblock- how can anyone really
*Expect us to come straight back up after smashing the division - happened once with Newcastle- won't happen again
                        * Be looking forward to'' the championship with it's proper grounds & proper football blah blah'' etc - **** grounds, **** places like Leicester, Burnley, Derby and only marginally cheaper. Also the quality of football is horrendous- has anyone had the misfortune of sitting through a Championship game recently? it's got worse than i ever remembered.
*''rebuild, get rid of the dead wood and start again etc'' exactly what was said in 1996 & 2001- other clubs don't buy dead wood and we ended up rebuilding with people like Mike Sheron and Steve Palmer!! We'll just replace Prem **** with Championship **** and be stuck with the ones nobody else wants/can afford like Bosingwa
*EVERYONE IN THE LEAGUE WILL WANT TO BEAT US. We used to be quite liked, loads of people had a soft spot for QPR. Now we're just viewed as the only club to become mega rich and still be s***. We'll be a big scalp for teams in that league, we've never been good away from home and that won't change.

I might be wrong and we might be top of the league come January with Bothroyd & Jenas both back in the England team (fell off my chair when i read that pearler from JJ this morning) and the likes of Will Hughes, Nathan Redmond, Thomas Ince playing for us. Far more likely we'll be mid to lower table, without a manager after Redknapp leaves for a struggling Prem side/West Ham in October/November with a host of ageing players that ''know their way around the championship'' but will never actually get us out of it.

This season has been a complete and utter embarrassment, last year was only slightly better. We have owners with good intentions but no knowledge or experience in this field. We've made the same mistakes year after year and this won't change.

A very negative post, but I feel a very realistic and honest one. I hope we're all ready for some more long seasons ahead.

I for one, think they(the board) have learnt from all the mistakes they have made these two last seasons.

Exactly... if they hadn't of learned, then they wouldn't have made the money they've made.
