    Wigan game

We are as good as down but imagine what this place will be like if we win it and other results go our way

I actually can't see us beating wigan because we look so disjointed.

The only reason wigan are above us is because they play as a team, something I have just not witnessed in a bunch of overpaid individuals
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Exactly this. As individuals on paper, we have a decent side. But exactly as you say WeAre, we cannot play as a team for toffee.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

You'll beat Wigan, they're not a good side atm, just because they beat us means nothing, we can't win an arguement, so keep believing.

Were not disjointed were inconsistent as the game of two halves against Villa and Fulam have shown. If we could find a happy medium between our good halves against Villa and Fulham and the bad then we would be fine.

When were good Villa first and Fulham second halves were 9 out of 10 but the opposite is when were bad were a 3 or 4. We need to find a consistent level where when were not playing well were still competitive and hard to beat. At the current time were great or appalling there is no inbetween

I wouldn't say that, we've shown we can play as a team in the first half against villa and second against Fulham, and also in the wins against saints and mackems. But that's the problem, we don't play like that for 90mins. When we've played well, we've been very very good. Our problem is inconsistency.

True but that's hardly good enough - any professional football team worth it's salt should be able to play as a team for a majority of the time, especially given that they train together everybody. Just so frustrating as a fan watching em play like total strangers.

If Taarabt doesn't start then I think we'll win it. The entire team looks, plays and holds the ball better when he isn't on the pitch.

BUT he shakes the whole game up when he comes on...good for last 25 mins....if HR had bought him on 5 mins earlier in the villa game we wouldnt have lost the game.

exactly this - my brother and I were both saying its really hard to believe in each half that you are watching more or less the same 11 players.

You're not wrong mate, frustrating as hell. Only QPR would you have the team we have on paper and fail spectacularly.

The frustration is we are now showing the shoots of becoming a decent outfit but its come to late in the day. If we had 15 games left I think we would stay up comfortably but I think we have run out of games now

Just for the record we will tonk Wigan on Sunday. The players will bounce back and we'll win by two clear goals at least. It will still account for nothing though!
