How did Berbatov not get sent off?

Couldn't work that one out. He ran over and pushed Hill with both hands. Raising your hands in football is a sending off offence. Barton didnt' even touch the Norwich bloke last season and was sent off!

And then a few mins later he gets that killer 2nd goal! Should not have been on the pitch!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Agreed, i thought the ref made some awful decisions yesterday and fell for all of their acting. you can tell berbatov played for united he has that attitudes that suggests its his devine right to get a decision, not sent off etc... one of many reasons why i hate teams like arsenal and utd as they bank on the theory that they should get everything going their way. Remember RVP at loftus rd last season???

to be fair, i thought the rule only applied to face/neck rather than chest, but was surprised that he only got a talking to and not a yellow. anyway, if we're going to give the ball to an opposing attacker on the edge of our own area, it doesnt really matter who that player is.

Because the referee bottled it, plain and simple if it was Barton or Diakite they'd have been heading down the tunnel

Will probably get roasted for this but I never thought he was that great last night. Yes he came away with two goals but one one was a pen and the other one gifted to him which the keeper nearly saved.

Other then pull a few balls down out the sky on the half way line what did he contribute??? He will turn out to be Fulhams Adel

                This.
I cannot see what all the fuss is about. Berbatov is a good player, that is all.

Nah, should have been booked but it's never a sending off unless it's too the face.

Not a sending off and the ref was fine.

Not a red, but at least a yellow. Not only did he come over and push Hill in an agressive manner, he then wouldn't let it go and had to be restrained.

there were a couple of other incidents that were blatent yellows also.

If you have a reputation like Barton has then once you even look like you are going to raise your hands you will get sent off. Players like Berbatov because its not what he is renound for can get away with things like that. Refs wonder why they get stick, well its because of their inconsistency and bias towards the 'bigger clubs'.

Never a red, booking yeah, but if anything the ref bottled it by not sending Hill off.

It was a reckless, cowardly tackle meant to harm and Hill should have got a straight red, horrible to watch one of our players perform it - if that happened to one of our players I'd like to think at least one of them would confront the perpetrator in a similar way Berbatov did.
