Even at 3-0 the atmosphere in the QPR was fantastic but when we got the goals the noise was the best all season I reckon especially at half time

Was great at half time. We have got great support. Through adversity we come together and hopefully next season we'll be able to come straight back up. Going to be so hard, but we need to believe we can do it. Such a slog that Championship. I hate the league.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984. -
Great showing again yesterday. As Hammersmith says, HT was absolutely rocking - anybody would have thought we were the side 3-1 up!You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Was getting texts too saying they couldn't hear us. Think it was just talk to be honest. I sent them the vid I took at half time of us making more noise 3-1 down than they would ever make, while there was no beer, yet never got a response???Comment

Loved the "Hoops.......Hoops.......Hoops.......Hoops" chant....totally drowning out the noise of 20,000 paper clappers being waved by the home crowd !Comment

mate of mine was in the hammersmith end and he said he couldn't hear us, but also reckons they didn't stop singing the whole game which i definately didnt hear! So maybe its a case of the opposite ends of the ground drowning eachother out.
The fulham fans closest to the putney end barely looked round from their clappers and definately never sung the entire gameComment

No that was your boyfriend getting permission to crack one off over your #### as he knew last time you got the hump when he munked on your face with out warning you you f ucking bell end
On a serious note Fulham appears a strange ground for an atomosphere as I got the impression they were singing as there were three or four rows a the back jumping up and down but that could have been the cold and they were trying to keep warm, then of course the clappers handed out to try and generate a buzz could have drowned out any singing from the home end.
Must say 40+ year old men slapping a clapper about there is something wrong about thatComment

It's always been like that. Neither ends can hear each other and the Hammersmith End is the only one that makes any noise, so both sets of fans come out saying the other's were quiet. Would help if the corners were filled in or at least the roofs were sorted out as they deflect the sound back at the fans underneath. On a serious note Fulham appears a strange ground for an atomosphere as I got the impression they were singing as there were three or four rows a the back jumping up and down but that could have been the cold and they were trying to keep warm, then of course the clappers handed out to try and generate a buzz could have drowned out any singing from the home end.Comment
