Why was DJ named in the final 25?

If named there was no reason to let him go out on loan.
It now seems that AJ could be fit for the last 3 games of the season, when we can't call upon him as a player that has been loaned out made the 25 instead.

I just can't understand why HR named DJ, but then loaned him straight out.
Maybe AJ wasn't supposed to come back so early, but I still wonder why we name a forward in the final 25 then ship him straight out.

maybe because AJ wasnt expected to come back this early and maybe there wasnt a proper secured deal on DJ at the time HR released the 25 man squad?

Annoying though as AJ would have been a good in the team in the situation we are in.

Harry isnt the sharpest tool in the box and probably mis-spelt AJ on the form....

It may depend on how quickly DJ can be recalled if he's needed. But with AJ crocked, BZ semi-crocked and Cisse gone he's needed now IMO. So it's pretty clear he's not wanted at the club; trying to sign Odemwinge and Crouch on deadline day confirms that. In which case Harry's wasted a squad place on him.
