What happened with David Bentley ...........Not that I really wanted him ........ There was talk from early doors about the three Spurs players and it looks like Andros and Jenas are through the door ....But Bentley (thankfully) seems to have died a death !!Comment

I think we missed out because TF/PB actually are good business men not paying silly money for Crouch/Odemwingie. The latter became complex when a 3.5m deal all of a sudden became a 3.5m+hoilett deal. I think WBA wanted £5m in the end which we found bad value for money. We offered £5m for Crouch but apparently Pulis wanted a replacement and also they wanted close to £10m for him which again we found bad value for money.
Too bad we did not have a plan c or d.Comment
